More information has been released regarding the sudden passing of 36-year-old Taiwanese star Alien Huang.

At 3pm today (Sep 16), the police held a short press conference and shared that Alien, who was also known as Xiao Gui, was found lying outside the bathroom of his Sanhe Street home with blood stains on the ground.

Police found no suspicious drugs, alcohol, or any other signs of external force on the scene, so Alien is suspected to have died after suffering a heart attack and falling down. However, the exact cause of death has yet to be determined.

According to Taiwanese media reports, Alien’s father had gone to the star's home at about 11am this morning to have lunch with him. After calling for his son and not getting a response, Alien’s father found him lying on the floor outside the bathroom of the master bedroom. He immediately called emergency services after he realised that Alien was not breathing and did not have a heartbeat. There also appeared to be injuries on his head.

When paramedics arrived, they discovered that Alien’s body was already stiff and displaying signs of livor mortis (a skin discolouration that occurs after death), so it was too late to send him to the hospital.

Judging from the direction he was lying and the fact that he was only wearing a T-shirt and underwear, police believe that Alien had just taken a shower before the tragedy happened.

Our condolences to Alien’s family and friends.
