Two men found dead in Kovan

SINGAPORE — Two bodies, believed to be those of a man and his son, were found within 1km of each other in Kovan yesterday (July 10). The police have classified the double deaths as suspected murder.

SINGAPORE — Two bodies, believed to be those of a man and his son, were found within 1km of each other in Kovan yesterday (July 10). The police have classified the double deaths as suspected murder. There was a trail of blood between the house at 14J Hillside Drive and outside the MRT station. The police said they received a call about the bodies at about 3.40pm. Those in the area told Channel NewsAsia that a car was purportedly involved in the incident, claiming that the younger man had been dragged by the vehicle. The police are appealing for information from witnesses who may have seen a silver Toyota Camry bearing the licence number SGM14J. Anyone with information can call 1800 255 0000. UPDATE: Friends and family members of the suspected double murder victims in Kovan last night visited the mortuary this morning for nearly two hours. They declined to speak to the media when leaving the mortuary. Two women came in a car with a licence plate including “14J”, matching the number of the family’s house at Hillside Drive. Police last night appealing for information from witnesses who may have seen a silver Toyota Camry bearing the licence number SGM14J. Four other men were also present at the mortuary.
